Returns and Refunds

RETURNS

Please Note: If the product has been returned to us and is not in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct a percentage to reflect the new lower resale value of the item.

Returns Policy:

We hope you will be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is in its original undamaged packaging, unused and in fully resalable condition. Some product groups cannot be returned or exchanged. Please check with us about specific products if you are uncertain.

If the product has been returned to us and is not in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item, or deduct a percentage to reflect the new lower resale value of the item.

Returns can be made as follows:

If emailing, please include your order number, the item number/s you wish to return, the reason for the return and whether you would like a refund or a replacement. We will liaise with you for the return of the item to us. A time and date will then be arranged for the courier to come and collect the product you wish to return

If you are not present at the time agreed with the courier service, you may be liable for additional collection costs or we would ask you to make your own arrangements to return the products to us. If you are arranging the return, then we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of the package on its way to us. We would advise you to arrange suitable insurance via your carrier to cover any loss or damage.

You are always welcome to return a package directly to the Northern Paints trade counter, in Amble, Northumberland. Please still ensure that a Returns Authorisation Number is clearly displayed on the package.

REFUNDS

Customers have up to 14 days to ask for a refund of goods. Northern paints Ltd will only accept returned goods where the purchaser obtains a ‘Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)’ from Northern Paints Ltd prior to attempting to return goods.

The returned goods must be received by Northern Paints Ltd unopened in their original packing in a ‘fit for immediate retail’ condition for refund of goods.

The purchaser is responsible for all carriage costs and safe return of goods to Northern Paints Ltd. Refund of returned goods is made within 7 days of receipt of the goods by Northern Paints Ltd subject to a goods condition inspection by Northern Paints Ltd. Refunds are credited back to customers’ Visa, MasterCard or Debit Cards.
